Yes I do believe that people can change, but only if they really want to. Here is an example : If you want to change how you do a front flip (front tuck) and you always flip sideways, if you really want to change that you have to practice and gratually get better until you perfect it. But change isn't really about front flips, it can be anything from how you handwrite to mowing a lawn. But in conclusion, yes I do think that people can change.
2. Do you think Bailey deserves a second chance if she is truly making an effort to change?
In this case I personally think that Bailey should get a second chance to be friends with Maya. If it was something worse (and I'm not saying that this wasn't bad) like stealing it might be a different story. But really it would be up to Maya because she is a different person and everyone has an opinion.
3. What would it take for Bailey to regain Maya's trust?
I think that Bailey should apologize even after she wrote a letter, but for me words mean a lot so I would like to hear it. Also I think that the to of them should start new, like they had never met and give Bailey a completely new try to build trust, friendship and learn NOT to trouble talk. I think that Bailey should admit that she did something wrong and get help from Maya or other people to learn how to be loyal and trustworthy.
4. This story related to because...
This story relates to me because I think that everybody has been told gossip stories that are not true, me included. Sometimes you overhear things and it's not good to tell anyone because those people talking don't want you to know whatever it is that they are talking about. Some secrets that you hear are not true and some are though, but if it is a secret like there is a bully, then you should tell someone like a teacher, parent or an adult. Sometimes people make up rumors and lies are made up by people who over hear things and they didn't hear right. In conclusion not all things you hear a correct or right, so be careful who you trust.
